Get Started

How It Works

  1. Export your analytics overview: In Pinterest Analytics, open Overview and click the Export button in the top right. This needs a Pinterest Business account.
  2. Drop the CSV on this page: It's parsed in your browser, and we never store your file.
  3. Read the ranked actions: The report opens with the boards worth acting on first, each carrying the number that justifies it.
  4. Work the board table: Use the full breakdown as evidence for what to publish, rewrite or replace next.

What the Report Shows

The overview export carries the full metric set, impressions, engagement, pin clicks, outbound clicks and saves, only at board level. This report measures every board against your own account's average click rate, ranks the boards missing the most clicks, and tells you what kind of fix each one needs.

Recoverable Clicks

A single headline figure: how many outbound clicks are being left on the table across the boards converting below your account average.

Ranked Actions

Rewrite titles, replace images, publish more to a starved board, or publish fresh pins. Each action carries the number that justifies it.

Board Diagnosis

Every board is labelled saved-not-clicked, weak creative, working or typical, based on its saves-to-clicks ratio against your account average.

Nothing Uploaded, Nothing Stored

Your CSV is read in your browser. Only the board and pin totals needed to build the report are sent, and we never store your file.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I get the CSV file this tool needs?

In Pinterest Analytics, open Overview and click the Export button in the top right. You need a Pinterest Business account to see the Analytics section.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The CSV is parsed in your browser and only the board totals, daily series and pin links needed to build the report are sent. We never store your file.

Why does this report focus on boards instead of pins?

The overview export carries the full set of metrics, impressions, engagement, pin clicks, outbound clicks and saves, only at board level. The Top Pins section in the same file gives you a pin link and a single metric, with no title and no destination URL, so a per-pin click rate cannot be computed from it. Boards are where the real comparison lives.

What are outbound clicks and why do they matter more than impressions?

An outbound click is someone leaving Pinterest for your site, which is the action that actually matters for traffic. Impressions just measure how often something was shown. A board can rack up huge reach and still send you nobody.

How is the recoverable clicks number calculated?

Every board is measured against your own account average outbound click rate. For each board below that average, the shortfall between the clicks it should have earned at your average rate and the clicks it actually earned is added up. It is your account measured against itself, not an outside benchmark.
