How to make Pinterest pins from an Amazon product

Paste one Amazon link. Get finished Pinterest pins that show your product in fresh new photos, with your affiliate tag on them. Here's the whole thing, click by click, with a real blanket from Amazon.

Before you start

Pick where your product should be shown

Amazon affiliate? Add your tag first: see the tip at the end of this step. Then, under 1 · Choose your product photo, Made to Spark has already picked the clearest photo. To use a different one, tap another photo.

    1. 1 Under Choose a setting, the cards show example photos. Your product goes in instead.
    2. 2 Tap + on a setting to add it, and tap it again to take it out. Each setting you pick becomes one pin. If you have enough credits, In use and Studio are already chosen for you. In this guide we also added Golden hour, so we make 3 pins.
    3. 3 AI redraws your product in each setting, so small details like a logo or lettering can shift. Check each pin still matches what you sell.

Tip: Amazon affiliate? The first time, click Add your affiliate tag near the top, type your tag (it looks like yourname-20) and click Save for all amazon.com links. Every pin from amazon.com then links with your tag, and you never type it again. Promoting another Amazon store, like amazon.co.uk? Save that store’s tag the same way. Pasted a link that already has your tag in it, like an amzn.to link from SiteStripe? Then it says “Pins use yourname-20 from the link” instead, and there is nothing to do.

Check the words, then click Make

Each pin gets a short headline. Click one to change the words, or tap the ⇄ button next to it for a new one. Or leave them as they are. The small pictures next to each headline are the example settings, not your pin. Then click the Make button at the bottom. It shows how many pins you picked, like Make 3 pins, and what it uses: one credit per pin, so 3 pins use 3 credits.

Tip: Want the words to look different? Next to Headline style on a pin, click Change and pick a design. To change every pin at once, use Brand & headline style at the top of the page. Auto picks the design that suits each photo best, and your words and photo stay the same.
  3. 5

Wait about a minute: your pins are ready

You land on My Pins and watch them being drawn. You can leave the page; they keep going. Give each pin a quick look. If a word looks wrong, click Edit under that pin, then Edit headline (no credit).

    Send them to Pinterest

On the right of your new pins:

    1. 1 Click Connect Pinterest and allow access on Pinterest. You only do this once, and it brings you straight back to your pins.
    2. 2 Pick a board. AI chooses the best match from your boards, marked (suggested). You can choose another.
    3. 3 Leave When on Spread out (recommended), so your pins go out over the coming days. Want to choose the days? Pick Pick dates myself.
    4. 4 Click Schedule all 3.
    5. 5 Rather not connect Pinterest? Skip 1 to 4 and click Download all to save the pictures, then upload them to Pinterest yourself.

After you connect: pick a board, then Schedule all 3
Tip: Scheduling comes with every subscription plan. If you only bought credits, you see See plans with the scheduler instead of Connect Pinterest. Use Download all, or pick a plan there.

Want designs made from the Amazon photos instead?

At the top of the pick screen, click the Templates tab. You get ready-made pin designs that use the photos from the Amazon page, with no new picture drawn. The tab shows what each one costs on your plan. AI settings you already picked still get made, and a note says so. Only want templates? Click Remove them in that note.

Questions

How many credits does this use?

Each AI scene pin uses 1 credit, so 3 settings use 3 credits. The page shows the total next to the Make button before you click it. Fixing a word with Edit headline does not use a credit.

Does my Amazon affiliate tag stay on the pin?

Yes. Once you save your tag, every pin made from an amazon.com link carries it. Each Amazon store has its own tag, so save one for every store you promote. If you paste a link that already has your tag in it, that tag is kept.

Can I use an amzn.to short link?

Yes. Paste the short link and Made to Spark follows it to the product page, reads the product and keeps your tag on the pin.

What if something goes wrong?

If a pin does not work, its spot says what happened, and nothing is charged for it. Often you see a Try again button: click it once. If you pick more pins than you have credits for, the Make button changes into a button to get more credits, so nothing starts half done.

Where do my pins go after I make them?

They are saved in My Pins, where you can schedule, download or edit them for 60 days.
